As you may know,
Congress has Passed a Bill Mandating Online Safety Education. The legislation will require schools receiving federal Internet subsidies to educate their students about appropriate online behavior and cyberbullying. Not only is it important to ensure our students are Cyber Safe, it is required.

I-Safe. If you haven't already taken a Cyber Safety class you should contact your school librarian or technology coach or teacher to provide training or contact the Office of Instructional Technology or School Library Services to find out when trainings are scheduled. You can also visit our class registration website at http://pd.nycoit.org and search for "Cyber Safety" in the Instructional Technology or Library Services department.
